Lincoln Park Speedway
Last Visited - 2017
Track Distance - 1/4 mile
Facilities - Average
City/Town - Putnamville, Indiana, USA
Website - www.lincolnparkspeedway.com
Location - The track is located 50 minutes south west of Indianapolis via I-70.
Parking - Right beside the track.
Premiere Meeting - The USAC Sprintcars visit during Indiana Sprint Week.
Also worth attending - In what is a schedule that doesn't excite the visit from the USAC Midgets during
USAC Midget week looks to easily be the next best option. Outside of that maybe the MSCS Sprints or the MMSA Sprints.
Best spot to sit - There is a lot of seating down the front straight. Down the right hand end of the seating is
a stand that sits up behind the wooden seating area. The additional height of this stand provides a good view of the
track. Alternatively you can bring your own seating and sit to the left of the stand. There is also seating on the
far side of the track, clearly intended for crews.
Classes run - Midgets, non-wing Sprintcars, US Minisprints, US Modifieds, US Super Stocks, Bombers
Uniqueness - This is one track I took an instant liking to. Perhaps it was because it looks kinda
similar to the old Meremere track in terms of the colour of the dirt, the width of the track and how the
track races. The width of the track allows the big classes like Sprintcars and the US Modifieds room to race
whilst not being too wide for the smaller classes like Midgets.
